About Tower Homes & Our Approach
Who is Tower Homes, and what’s your reputation locally?
Tower Homes is a regional homebuilder known for thoughtful design, dependable quality, and a clear, well-run process. We focus on building homes that feel livable from day one—homes designed around real life, not trends that fade. Many of our buyers come through referrals or repeat relationships, which says a lot about how we operate.
What makes Tower Homes different from other builders?
We’re intentional about what we include, how we build, and how we communicate. That means fewer surprises, better standards, and a smoother experience overall. We’re known for being solid, consistent, and trustworthy.
What’s Included vs. Upgrades
What’s included in the base price vs. considered an upgrade?
More comes standard when you build a Tower home. While our standard features vary by region and community, you can expect high quality finishes and elevated touches in all of our homes. For a list of current features included in your preferred neighborhood, contact an agent.
Are there different home collections or levels of finish?
Yes. Some communities offer multiple home collections designed to fit different budgets and needs. Each collection has clearly defined inclusions so expectations stay clear from the start.
Design Flexibility & Customization
How much flexibility do I really have with design selections?
You’ll have meaningful choices without being overwhelmed. Floor plans are thoughtfully designed, and you’ll be able to personalize finishes, colors, and certain features while staying within a framework that protects timelines and quality.
Can we make changes to the floor plan?
We offer an array of floor plans of varying sizes and layouts to accommodate your lifestyle. While moving walls and windows may not always be an option, you will be able to personalize most of your finishes and features (both exterior and interior). Whatever your request, we will always collaborate with you and provide clear answers upfront on what is possible.
Can I bring my own plans or fully custom design?
Tower Homes primarily builds from curated plans designed for efficiency, livability, and long-term value. Full custom builds aren’t typically offered, but many buyers find they can get exactly what they need within our existing plans.
Build Timeline & Expectations
What’s the realistic build timeline?
Building timelines vary based on seasonality and market demand. Most homes take an average of six to eight months from contract to completion, depending on the plan, community, and timing. Your agent will give you a realistic timeline based on the current situation.
How will I stay updated during the build?
You’ll receive regular updates from your Tower team, and you’ll always know what’s coming next. For a detailed overview of the building journey, click here.
Construction Quality & Energy Efficiency
What energy-efficiency features come standard?
Tower homes are built with energy efficiency in mind from the start, including quality insulation, efficient HVAC systems, modern windows, and smart building practices that help lower monthly utility costs.
Are Tower homes Gold Fortified?
Many Tower homes meet or exceed high durability and resilience standards. Specific certifications like Gold Fortified can vary by community and home type, and your agent can confirm what applies to your home.
What does this mean for my future utility bills?
While every household is different, buyers often find their utility costs are lower and more predictable compared to older homes, thanks to efficient systems and construction methods.
Warranties & Peace of Mind
What warranties are included, and what do they actually cover?
Your home comes with a builder warranty covering workmanship and materials, along with manufacturer warranties on major systems and appliances. We’ll walk you through what’s covered, for how long, and how to request service if needed.
What happens if I find an issue after move-in?
We stand behind our homes with our No-Nonsense Guarantee™ warranty program. If something comes up, you’ll submit a warranty request and our team will take it from there.
Pricing, Financing & Costs
How much should I expect for monthly costs beyond the mortgage?
In addition to your mortgage, you’ll want to plan for property taxes, insurance, and any HOA fees. Your agent or lender can help estimate these so there are no surprises.
Do you offer incentives or preferred lenders?
From time to time, yes. Incentives vary by community and market conditions, so it’s always best to ask your agent what’s currently available.
Can Tower Homes help with closing costs?
In some situations, closing cost assistance may be available through incentives or lender programs. Your agent can explain current options.
Communities, Lots & Neighborhoods
Can I choose my lot?
Yes! Many of our communities have lots available for purchase.
What amenities are included in the community?
Amenities vary by neighborhood and may include playgrounds, green spaces, trails, or common areas. Visit our communities page to explore amenities.
What schools serve the community?
School zoning varies by location. Your agent can provide current school information and help you understand options in the area.
What are the HOA fees, and what do they cover?
If the community has an HOA, fees typically cover amenities, shared spaces or neighborhood upkeep. Details are provided before you move forward.
After Move-In & Long-Term Ownership
What happens during the final walkthrough?
Before closing, we’ll walk the home with you, explain systems, answer questions, and make sure everything is ready for move-in.
How much maintenance should I expect in the first few years?
New homes require far less maintenance than older ones, especially early on. We’ll provide guidance on routine care to keep your home in great shape.
How does a Tower home typically hold its value?
While no one can predict the market, well-built homes in thoughtfully planned communities tend to hold value well over time.
