Ensconced in northern Greenville County at the intersection of Highways 25 and 276, Travelers Rest sits at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, yet is only minutes away from shopping and cultural events in downtown Greenville, approximately 45 minutes from Ashville, NC and only a few hours from Charleston or Myrtle Beach The area in and around Travelers Rest offers a unique variety of antique and specialty shops, restaurants, national and regional chain stores, churches, and leisure activities. White Oake Ridge is within 1/2 mile of the proposed "Tram-Trail". This multi-use trail would consist of a 10-foot wide asphalt strip on the bed of an abandoned rail line running from downtown downtown Travelers Rest to downtown Greenville.

Directions:
From I-85 take I-385 North towards Downtown Greenville. Take Exit 40A, N. Pleasantburg Drive (Hwy 291) (Get into the left lane since Hwy 291 makes a left turn just before Hwy 29). At Cherrydale Shopping Center get into the right lane, Hwy 291 becomes Hwy 253 and takes a slight turn to the left (do not turn Right onto Hwy 253 at the light). At the next light, Poinsett Hwy (Hwy 276), turn right and go approx. 6 miles to Travelers Rest. At third traffic light in Travelers Rest turn Left onto Mc Elhaney Rd (Sun Rift Adventures will be on your Right) White Oak Ridge is approx. 1/2 mile on left.
